Shluchim FAQ

All the info you need to answer your community's questions
_________

WHO IS THIS TRIP FOR?

Year 11 teens across the UK.

WHEN DOES REGISTRATION OPEN?

Registration will then open on 7th December.

Many teens sign up on the first day registration opens. If you have a teen in your community we advise you reach out to them about joining CTeen Israel Tour well before registration opens as otherwise they may sign up with a different organisation. Soft Launch of Israel Tour is 10th November. This is the date UJIA allows us to publicize to parents and teens that tour is happening this year and when and where they can find details of registration.

IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO MEANWHILE?

Yes! Tell your community about the trip now. Get them excited and involved, so that as soon as registration opens they can book themselves a spot. There are limited spots and a limited time to register, so any conversations you have with them now will help speed up the process and get them to experience this incredulous life changing trip.

WHAT IS OUR COVID-19 POLICY?

The Israel Journey trip policy are decided by Israel's requirements for tour groups. Latest guidelines allow unvaccinated tourists to enter. Policy is subject to change.

CAN A TEEN STAY IN ISRAEL LONGER AFTER ATTENDING THE HERITAGE QUEST OR ISRAEL JOURNEY?

No. All participants in the group must travel both ways together. In case of exceptional circumstances, please get in touch and we can discuss individual cases.

WILL ATTENDING THIS TRIP AFFECT A TEEN'S ELIGIBILY FOR BIRTHRIGHT?

No, it will not affect their eligibility for birthright. Birthright is a 10-day trip that can be attended up to age 32.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE FUNDING FROM UJIA?

Any teen across the UK who is in need of financial help may be eligible. Details will be on the application from on 7th December.
